Health Professionals Regulation, Office of
Mission
To license, certify and discipline health care professionals, and to identify professional standards to ensure the highest quality health care for, and protection of, the public.
What We Do
We oversee the licensure, certification, registration and discipline of healthcare professionals and facilities, the administrative and regulatory functions of licensing Boards, the Rhode Island J-1 visa waiver program, and the Rhode Island Medical Marijuana Program.
