What We Are Doing

Inspections

The Office of Facilities Regulation inspects health care facitilies to check for violations to minimum standards and to see where quality is maintained above the minimum.

National Performance Information

Part of our inspection information is used by the United States Department of Health & Human Services to generate national quality profiles for facilities that are in the Medicaid/Medicare programs.

Rhode Island Quality Measures

Our Health Care Quality Reporting Program created by state law goes above and beyond the national performance information to collect clinical and patient satisfaction information for home health agencies, hospitals, nursing homes and physicans.
