The EMT-Cardiac Examination is administered at the Department of Health. Registration is limited to this allocated time only and will be on a first – come, first - serve basis. Examination sessions will be closed when enrollment levels are reached. Registrants paperwork received after enrollment is met will be notified and scheduled for a future date.
Please select a date for the exam and return registration form, full completed application, including a new BCI and payment (if applicable) to the Division of EMS. Complete application packet must be received TWO weeks prior to exam date. If you have any questions, please call the Division of EMS at (401) 222-2401.
All exams are held in the Department of Health Auditorium at 9:00am, unless otherwise notified. Proof of identity is required by use of a photographic identification card. No one will be admitted to the exam after 9:10 am.
EMT Cardiac exam application deadline is 2 weeks prior to each exam date. Do not contact the Division of EMS requesting exam results. Result will be e-mailed directly to the applicant within three weeks after the exam date.
