Lyme in Rhode Island

Rhode Island has the second highest rate of Lyme disease infection in the country, with a rate of 81.3 per 100,000 people infected in 2002 alone.  As a result, the Rhode Island State government has taken a particular interest in addressing the Lyme disease problem by looking at ways to prevent Lyme disease as well as support Lyme disease patients.
